•This unit is designed to provide protection to the product in PCR procedures, tissue cultures, media preparation, sterile work, etc…
•Working principle:
•An air stream is aspirated from outside and pre-filtered. Then, it is filtered through an HEPA (H14) filter to the work surface, at a speed greater or equal to 0.4 m/s (according to international standards), ensuring that no particles enter the work zone and achieving total protection of the product, even in difficult working conditions. The units work in sterile vertical laminar flow class 100 (fed. Std 209E) or ISO 5 (UNE EN ISO 14644)
•Finally, the air flow is exhausted from the unit through a frontal access, generating a positive pressure barrier.
•Construction
•Made of folded steel and painted with high resistance paint.
•Washable pre-filter made of polyamide materials, with 90% efficiency for particles of 5 µm diameter. It is located in the upper part of the unit.
•HEPA filter with 99.999% efficiency for particles of 3 µm diameter EN 1822.
•High capacity, very low noise motor EC capable of handling supply to laminar flow as well as the positive pressure barrier.
•Manual control system indicating motor performance, control of working and rest speeds. This panel also controls WHITE illumination LED and UV light.
•Illumination by LED tube, located in a frontal position, to avoid the operator casting shadows over the work.
•Stainless steel work surface.
